Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate runner, you probably haven't taken on the task of running a half marathon. I have yet to run a competitive half marathon in my life, but its definitely on the radar in the next year. The big question is, how do you get there? Running 13 miles ain't no piece of cake!

I wanted a fun little way to keep track of my progress and I created a simple, yet colorful calendar to help me and keep me motivated. I recommend rewarding yourself every week with something small, and jotting it down in the calendar so you know what you're racing towards. Cross off the days as you go, and try to have fun. Hanging the calendar on the fridge or in a place where everyone can see it is an extra motivator as well. I find that I'm more likely to complete a goal when someone else is holding me accountable.
